EVANSTON, Ill. -- Junior Meghan Small (Bethlehem, Pa./Moravian Academy) has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after leading Northwestern to a 2-0 weekend in Connecticut.
In the Wildcats' 4-3 overtime win Friday at Fairfield, Small tallied an assist before caging both Northwestern goals in a 2-1 victory at Yale Sunday.
Small currently leads the Wildcats in goals (3), points (7) and shots (15). The honor is the second of her career; she earned the 2004 season's first conference POW nod after notching both NU goals in an overtime victory against James Madison.
