EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore lacrosse player Kristen Kjellman is featured in the "Faces In The Crowd" section of this week's Sports Illustrated (June 13).

She becomes the fourth Northwestern athlete to be so recognized this year, joining men's soccer player Justin Pines, wrestler Jake Herbert and women's tennis player Audra Cohen.

Kjellman helped the Wildcats win the NCAA lacrosse title, the school's first such team championship in a women's sport and just its second in a team sport overall (the first came in men's fencing in 1941). The first-team All-America and Honda Award recipient was MVP of the NCAA Championship after she scored NU's first five goals in the title game, and she finished the 2005 season with a team-leading 59 goals despite missing essentially two games.
