Sophomore Kristen Kjellman -- who was named one of five finalists for the Tewaaraton Trophy on Thursday -- earned first-team honors, along with senior defender Courtney Koester and junior attack Lindsey Munday.

Junior attack Laura Glassanos and senior defender Ashley Koester received second-team honors, while senior attack Sarah Albrecht -- who still has a year of eligibility remaining -- received third-team recognition.

This is Courtney Koester's second-straight year receiving first-team All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse, while Kjellman moved up from second-team recognition a year ago (Kjellman was also the IL National Rookie of the Year last season). The others are receiving All-America honors from the publication for the first time.

Northwestern finished the regular season with a perfect 17-0 record and the No. 1 ranking for the last seven weeks. The Wildcats have beaten Mount St. Mary's and Princeton in the NCAA Championship, and will play Dartmouth tonight in an NCAA semifinal in Annapolis, Md.
