
Wildcats Fall at Michigan, 6-1

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern fell to Michigan Saturday morning, 6-1. The Wolverines swept the doubles competition and took five of six singles matches to win their Big Ten opener.
The Wildcats' (6-5, 1-1 Big Ten) Christian Tempke (Wentorf, Germany/Gymnasium Lohbrugge) played at the No. 2 singles position for the third time this season and came through with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 win over Brian Hung. Tempke improves to 7-8 overall, 5-6 in duals.
The 'Cats are next in action at noon against Michigan State Sunday, Feb. 27.
