Koester Earns Inside Lacrosse National Honor

EVANSTON, Ill. - Senior defender Courtney Koester was named the Inside Lacrosse National Player of the Week for her efforts in NU's 6-5 win over No. 6 North Carolina Sunday in Chapel Hill. The announcement was made Monday.

Koester anchored an NU defense that shut the Tar Heels out in the second half, allowing the third-ranked Wildcats to overcome a three-goal halftime deficit for the win in the season opener for both teams.
