Chelsea Davis Named Big Ten Diver of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. -- For the second time this season, freshman Chelsea Davis (Columbus, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne) has been named Big Ten Diver of the Week.

Davis collects the award after a strong showing against Big Ten opponent Indiana last weekend. The freshman swept both board events, winning the 1-meter with 301.73 points and scoring 312.81 on the 3-meter.

She was the only diver to score over 300 points in both events while defeating Hoosier All-American and 2005 Big Ten Diver of the Year Christina Loukas.

Northwestern's divers returns to action at Hawaii on December 23.
