EVANSTON, Ill. - As a further sign of Northwestern's increased exposure in women's lacrosse, the Wildcats will make their television debut this spring when College Sports Television (CSTV) broadcasts their home game with Ohio State on Thursday, May 5. The game is slated for 4 p.m. that day at the Leonard B. Thomas Athletic Complex, and will be broadcast at 7 p.m. that night.

"It is very exciting to have our Ohio State game televised," said NU head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller, the 2004 American Lacrosse Conference Coach of the Year. "Just the fact that CSTV is broadcasting so many lacrosse games this year is great for our sport, and it is an honor for us to be chosen as one of the teams they want to broadcast."

Joe Beninati will handle play-by-play for the game, as he will for all NCAA lacrosse on CSTV telecasts this season. Sheehan Stanwick, a four-time All-America while starring at Georgetown, will provide commentary for women's telecasts.

After a 2004 season that saw the Wildcats go 15-3, win a share of the ALC title and advance to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament, they are ranked No. 3 in the 2005 IWLCA's preseason coaches poll.

The Northwestern-Ohio State game is part of a full slate of games scheduled to be broadcast this spring on CSTV. Highlights and the schedule are listed below.
