EVANSTON, Ill. - Through Saturday's competition at the United States Fencing Association's (USFA) North American Cup, two Wildcats have completed their run in the junior epee division, while four 'Cats have finished the division one sabre competition.

Sophomore Sarah Pecherek (Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South) finished 43rd out of 85 competitors in the junior epee. Freshman Gabrielle Aiuto (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck North) took 74th in the epee.

In the division one sabre competition, senior Lauren Dunn (Sacramento, Calif./Del Campo) placed highest for the 'Cats, finising at 40th out of 72. Sophomore Sophie Eustis (Andover, Mass./Concord Academy) placed 54th, sophomore Mia Vu (New York, N.Y./Bronx Science) placed 54th, and senior Lauren Van Guieson (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) took 56th.

The 'Cats still have sophomore Jessica Florendo (Forest Hills, N.Y./The Dwight School) and Natalie Wang (Milpitas, Calif./Presentation) set to compete in the in the foil competition.
