Evanston, Ill. - After scoring six goals and 14 points in her freshman campaign, Meghan Small earned an invitation to the USA Field Hockey Association's Women's B Camp. The camp was held July 18-21 at the University of Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y.

Under the direction of USA National Junior Team coach Tracey Fuchs and University of Maryland assistant coach Andrew Griffths, athletes spent time with skills training and analysis of international strategies. Based on her performance at the B Camp, Small took the next step toward earning a roster spot on the USA Under-19 or Under-21 teams by receiving her second invitation to the Women's A Camp to be held in January.

After tallying four shutouts and a 1.68 goals-against average as a freshman, Northwestern goaltender Sherri-Anne Nyberg will represent British Columbia in the USA/Canada Field Hockey Challenge being held July 27-August 1 in Virginia Beach, Va.
