EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern head coach Tim Lenahan has announced the addition of a fifth member to the incoming freshman class.
Clark Kiesling (Gig Harbor, Wash./Gig Harbor) has accepted an offer of admission to Northwestern and will join the team for the upcoming 2004 season.
Kiesling led his high school squad to a league championship in 2003 and a third place finish in the state while being named team MVP. He has served as a captain for the 2004 spring season.
"Clark is a big, tough, athletic player with a competitive and hard-nosed approach to the game," Lenahan said. "His play on the Region IV team has prepared him to play at this level and it should not be too long before he is an impact player in the Big Ten."
