EVANSTON, Ill. -- Freshman Leanne Dumais (Ventura, Calif./Buena) is currently in 10th position at the NCAA Zone Diving Competition in Bloomington, Ind. Thirty-five divers are vying for 11 positions at the NCAA Championships March 18-20 in College Station, Texas.

Dumais scored 497.20 points in the meet's first event, the one-meter board. She sits 5.85 points behind ninth-place Julie Broms of Ohio State. Meghan Perry-Eaton of Notre Dame won the event with 564.30 points.

The Zone continues tomorrow with the three-meter board and concludes Sunday with the platform event.
