Wildcats in Fourth Place After First 18 Holes

PARRISH, Fla. -- After the first round of the Central District Classic, Northwestern's 36th-ranked Wildcats are in fourth place, eight shots behind tourney leader LSU. The second round is being played this afternoon.

Freshman Alice Kim (Los Angeles, Calif./Brentwood) is tied for third place after shooting an even-par 72, which equals the best round of her young career. Kim is three strokes behind Wisconsin's Malinda Johnson.
