EVANSTON, Ill. - Courtney Koester, a senior midfielder, has been named to the American Lacrosse Conference Preseason All-Conference Team. The team was announced this week by the ALC and came by a vote of the conference coaches.

Koester was a first-team All-ALC selection last season, after leading the Wildcats in ground balls (38), caused turnovers (13) and draw controls (45). She also finished third on the team with 19 goals and four assists for 23 points.

Ohio State's Regina Oliver was the preseason Player of the Year pick.
