EVANSTON, Ill - Sophomore Willy Lock (Lima, Peru/Markham College) and junior Adam Schaechterle (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Moraine) both won their opening matches in the qualifying rounds of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in straight sets Thursday, Oct. 21.
Lock -- seeded second in the qualifying rounds -- defeated Chris Clark of Toledo 6-2, 6-3. Schaechterle -- seeded 16 -- defeated Sean Moran of Western Illinois 6-1, 7-6.
The two will return to singles action Friday, Oct. 22.
