EVANSTON, Ill. - The past met the present Saturday night in Welsh-Ryan Arena as Northwestern's 1984 Big Ten Championship team was honored before the match by Head Coach Keylor Chan and the rest of the Wildcat faithful. While the past looked on, the present made history with senior setter and co-captain Drew Robertson (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Poly) breaking the all-time assists record at Northwestern with 49 against Iowa. The `Cats swept the match 3-0 (30-23, 30-28, 30-16) and the season series against the Hawkeyes.
