EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's lacrosse program is hosting its 2003 5v5 Series for local high school lacrosse players on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Nicolet Indoor Facility in Evanston.
The event will be run by the Wildcats coaching staff -- head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller, and assistant coaches Alexis Venechanos and Danielle Shearer.
It is a full weekend for the Wildcat program, as the current Northwestern team will take on a team of former All-Americans the previous morning -- Saturday, Oct. 25 -- at 9 a.m. on the Leonard B. Thomas Sports Complex turf field.
Registration for the Northwestern 5v5 Series is 30 dollars; high school players who want to sign up can print out the form at the top of this release and send it back to the women's lacrosse office or contact the women's lacrosse office (847-491-2796) for more information.
