EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern junior Courtney Koester (Richmond, Ind./Richmond) was named a third-team All-America by womenslacrosse.com, while freshman Lindsey Munday was one of 16 women named to the web site's National All-Rookie team.

Koester -- who was also a Warrior/Inside Lacrosse third-team All-America selection -- led the Wildcats this season in draw controls (45, which was 21 more than anyone else on the team) and ground balls (38), and tied for the team lead with 13 caused turnovers. She was also an offensive threat, finishing second on the team with 18 goals and fourth with 21 points. She had four multiple-goal games this year, highlighted by a four-goal outburst in NU's ALC opener against Ohio, a 13-9 win.

Munday led the Wildcats in scoring this season with a team-high 20 goals and eight assists for 28 points. She also had 24 draw controls and 22 ground balls. Munday enjoyed a strong second half of the season, as she scored in each of the last 11 games including a four-goal game vs. Davidson and three-goal games vs. nationally ranked teams in Connecticut and Penn State.
