NEW YORK, N.Y. - Northwestern won two of three Saturday at the Columbia Duals, improving their record to 23-6. NU defeated No. 9 Yale, 19-8, and Brown, 17-10, but fell to host Columbia, 18-9.

Sophomore foilist Julia F?ldi (Budapest, Hungary/Istavan Szent Gimnazium) went 9-0 on the day. She is 60-9 on the season, including 35-3 against nonconference foes. NU?s sabreists went 3-0 on the day, running their season mark to 25-4.

Sophomore Lauren Dunn (Sacramento, Calif./Del Campo) moved into sole possession of fourth place on NU?s career sabre wins list. Her five wins Saturday give her 119 since she arrived at Northwestern, 30 behind the third most.

The seventh-ranked Wildcats are 23-12 against the Ivy League.

Northwestern returns to action February 14-17 at the United States Fencing Association Junior Olympics.
