EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern junior Candice Cooper was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career.

Cooper led the Wildcats to a weekend sweep over Indiana and No. 18 California with three goals.

Cooper also garnered Offensive POW honors for the week of Sept. 21, 2002.

She leads the Wildcats in points, goals, and assists tallying 17 points, seven goals and three assists on the year. Cooper tallied the 'Cats second goal in the 3-2 conference win over Indiana and then exploded for two goals in NU's upset win over No. 18 California.

Cooper and the Wildcats seek to extend their winning streak to three games Sunday when they host Iowa at the Leonard B. Thomas Sports Complex.
