FT. WAYNE, Ind. - Northwestern defeated IPFW 2-0 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Sunday. With the win, the Wildcats, who improve their season mark to 6-5-4, earned a weekend split after falling to Michigan in Ann Arbor Friday.

Freshmen Gerardo Alvarez and Brad North each scored a goal in the shutout win.
