EVANSTON, Ill. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced its Academic All-America teams for the 2001-02 season, and as usual Northwestern is prominent on the lists.

Both the men's and women's teams were honored with team GPA's above 3.0. The men were one of 38 teams on the CSCAA list, which was headed by Evansville. On the women's side, NU joined 67 other teams led by St. Francis.

Individually, three women and one man represented the Wildcats as Academic All-Americans. Carmen Cosgrove, Merritt Adams and Rachel Johnson were among the 55 women honored by the CSCAA, while Tony Swanson was among the 33 male honorees. In addition, Erica Rose and Paige Nath were honorable mention.
