EVANSTON, Ill. - Four schools will come together at the Norris Aquatics Center this weekend as the Northwestern University swimming and diving teams play host to the annual NU Invitational from Friday through Sunday. Friday and Saturday's sessions begin at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., while Sunday's action begins at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Nationally-ranked Southern Methodist and Southern Illinois will join the Wildcats in competition on the men's side. Southern Illinois and Illinois will battle Northwestern on the women's side.
The Wildcat men enter competition this weekend with a 2-4 overall dual meet record and an 0-3 mark in the Big Ten. Meanwhile, the NU women are 3-3 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten.
The meet will be the final formal competition for both Northwestern squads until the month of January when they travel to Michigan State Jan. 10.
