EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern welcomes Wisconsin-Green Bay in the second game of a three-game homestand at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Field. The Wildcats (6-8) are looking for their seventh win of the season, which would be the fourth most in school history.

The 'Cats have won three of their last four matches against nonconference foes, including Sunday's 2-0 shutout against IPFW.

The Phoenix defeated NU in Green Bay last season, 1-0. UW-Green bay holds a slim 6-5-1 series edge, but Northwestern has shown tremendous improvement since 2001.

NU has already matched its total number of goals scored (12) from all of last season and has given up 18 fewer goals. The Northwestern defense has also allowed 137 fewer shots to this point. Senior goalkeeper J.D. Martin (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) already has five shutouts, the second best season total in school history.

Tito Lara (Joliet, Ill./Joliet) leads the NU attack with seven points (three goals and an assist). Eric Brin (Westlake, Calif./Westlake) and Jaro Pylypczak (Lombard, Ill./Benet Academy) have each scored two goals. Senior Steve Jedlinski (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) has a team-high three assists.

Kyle Sillars leads the Phoenix with two goals and two assists. Both of Sillars' goals were game-winners. Senior Clint Connealy also has a pair of goals. UW-Green Bay has used a trio of goalkeepers this season. Trevor Commons got the nod for the Phoenix their last time out, but freshman Pat Czuprynski leads the team with nine appearances and a team-best 1.75 goals-against average.
