Northwestern is Seventh After Second Day at Mercedes-Benz

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Ina Kim shot a 74 to lead Northwestern in the second round of the Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate Championships. NU is currently seventh in the 15-team field and Kim is tied for 11th.

Kim has a 150 thus far, along with Tennessee's Jessica Shepley. Only four strokes separate Kim and the third place spot.

Florida carded a 290, which is the third-lowest team round in tournament history, to make a run and tie the Swedish Junior National team for first-place with a two-day 603 (313-290). UF's Jeanne Cho fired a 4-under-par 68. The Wildcats are 12 shots off the pace with a two-day 615 (308-307).

Lauren Grzebien has a two-day 153 (77-76) and is 20th (nine shots back). Elizabeth Burden shot a 76, Erin Breslin carded a 78 and MaryEllen Grzebien shot an 82.

Northwestern wraps up the Mercedes-Benz on Sunday.
