EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern begins a three-game homestand at 3 p.m. Sunday against Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne at Lakeside Field. With a win, the Wildcats can match their best output since 1999 when they went 6-14.

The Wildcats enter the match having lost their last two. The Mastodons' last win came on Sept. 14 against Cleveland State.

"We've got the next three games at home," said NU head coach Tim Lenahan. "It is an important stretch for us. We need to get back on the winning track. We haven't lost more than two straight games this season so it's time to get a win."

The Wildcats are giving up just 1.4 goals per game thus far (18 goals in 13 games). They are on pace to give up 27 goals, which would be fifth best in NU history. The record is 17 set in 1988, the year Northwestern went 14-4-1 for the best record in school history.

IPFW (2-11-1) earned both of its wins on the road. The Mastodons have grown accustomed to playing away from home, as 12 of their 18 games this season are outside of Fort Wayne.
