Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision in Green Bay

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Wisconsin-Green Bay Friday night. A 14th-minute goal sent the Phoenix atop the Wildcats.
Brandon Steenlage was the scorer, tallying an unassisted goal in the 14th minute.
UWGB outshot Northwestern, 10-7, forcing Ryan Pederson (Westerville, Ohio/North) to make five saves. At the other end, Orin Kipp had a pair of stops.
The match was a physical affair, as Wisconsin-Green Bay committed 27 fouls and were issued four yellow cards.
Northwestern is at Michigan for another conference match Sunday. Kickoff in Ann Arbor is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern.
