EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's lacrosse club program had six women named to the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) all-league teams. Three Wildcats were named to the first team, while three more were named to the second team.

Attack players Lillian Lardy and Patty West were named first team, along with midfielder Julie Lazarus. Alexis Cohen, Erin Celentano and goaltender Kelly Matheson were named to the second team.

The Wildcats -- who will become a varsity program next year -- went 19-1 during the regular season and recently won the WCLL playoffs for the first time in the seven-year history of the event.
