EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern University women's lacrosse club went 2-1 Saturday at the Purdue Playday in West Lafayette, Ind. The Wildcats started the day by being edged by Miami (Ohio), 6-5, in a game that pitted the top two ranked teams in the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL). NU then came back to defeat the host Boilermakers (9-2) and Indiana (15-1).
The Wildcats get right back at it on Sunday, playing Division 3 varsity program Wooster.
