Women's Golf Takes Third at Indiana Invitational

Evanston, Ill. - The Northwestern women's golf squad shot rounds of 317-318-304=939 to finish third at the Indiana Invitational (par 74- 6,134 yards), 17 shots behind tournament winner Michigan State.
NU was led was once again by sophomore Elizabeth Burden who shot an even-par final round to tie for seventh place. Burden has been the `Cats top finisher in four of the last five tournaments. Freshman Hana Kim shot a final round 2-under-par 72 to place 10th. Junior Emily Gilley carded a 78 in the third round to finish tied for 13th. Senior Christie Hermes finished in a tie for 32nd, while freshman Lauren Grzebien tied for 44th.
