Women's Lacrosse Ranked Second in WCLL Poll

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's lacrosse team remained second in the latest Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League (WCLL) poll this week. The Wildcats garnered 95 points, just four fewer than first-place Miami (Ohio).
Despite the ranking, the Wildcats will enter this weekend's WCLL playoffs as the third seed. The WCLL playoffs will take place on Saturday in Toledo, Ohio.
Miami (Ohio) took nine of the 10 first-place votes this week en route to the top ranking, with No. 5 Michigan gaining the other one. Michigan State, who is the second seed at this weekend's playoffs, are ranked third with 85 voting points.
