Women's Swimming Finishes 35th at NCAA Championships

Evanston, Ill. - After three days of competition, the Northwestern women's swimming team placed 35th at the NCAA Championships in Long Island, N.Y. Leading the way for the `Cats on day three was Vicky West (Redlands, Calif./Redlands) with an 11th place finish in the 1650 freestyle (16:25.79). Erica Rose (Cleveland, Ohio/Hawken School) was right behind West in 14th-place with a time of 16:28.00.
Senior Tashy Bohm (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) capped off a successful collegiate career with a 12th place finish in the 200 backstroke (1:57.49).
Honorable Mention All-American : Bohm (200 back, 800 free realy), West (1650 freestyle, 800 free relay). Rose (1650 freestyle), Susie Sample (800 freestyle relay), Rachel Johnson (800 free relay)
