Fencers Continue to Roll at Notre Dame Duals

Evanston, Ill. - The No. 4 Northwestern fencing squad won eight out of nine bouts over the weekend at the Notre Dame Duals to up their season record to 26-2. The Wildcats cruised through the first day of the tournament out-dualing their opponents by an average of 19 points per bout.
On day two the `Cats had a chance to avenge their only loss on the season, but fell short to host No. 7 Notre Dame, 17-10. They closed out the weekend with a convincing 20-7 win over Air Force. NU has now defeated Michigan, Purdue and Lawrence twice this season.
