EVANSTON, Ill. - Three more Northwestern University swimmers took part in the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials on Saturday morning, as Rachel Johnson and Merritt Adams competed in the women's 200-meter butterfly and Steve Steketee competed in the men's 100-meter freestyle.
Johnson had the best finish among the trio, placing 28th in the preliminary round of the butterfly event. Her time was 2:16.75. Adams was 48th overall in 2:18.56.
Steketee was 54th in the 100-meter free in 51.85 seconds.
