Field Hockey Names Second Assistant for 2000 Season

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern University field hockey coach Marisa Didio named Michelle Hinman as her second assistant for the upcoming season.
Hinman recently graduated from Ohio University, where she was a standout goalkeeper for the Bobcat field hockey team. In 1999, Hinman was named first-team all-conference for the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and second-team NFHCA Regional All-America after leading the conference with an .801 save percentage. She also finished second in the MAC with a 1.90 goals-against average and four shutouts as the Bobcats posted their best record since 1986 at 13-9.
On the national level, Hinman participated in the United States Field Hockey Association's B-Camp in 1999 and was a three-time participant in the USFHA's Super Camp.
Hinman has extensive coaching experience in the USFHA's Futures program as a goalie coach. She also served as the head goalie coach at the East Coast Field Hockey Training Camp and the All-Star Field Hockey Camp in 1999.
Hinman graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in sport sciences, majoring in sports industry and coaching.
