
Men's Tennis Loses to Minnesota, 5-2

EVANSTON, Ill. - The men's tennis team fell to Minnesota, 5-2, on Saturday in Minneapolis. NU jumped to an early start, gaining the doubles point, but could only get a win at No. 2 in singles, as they fell to 2-7 in league play.
Brad Erickson and Joost Hol were the victors at No. 1 doubles, defeating Haug and Michalowski, 8-5. Jackie Jenkins and Russell Bennett picked up a win at No. 3, for the early Wildcat lead. In singles, Hol was the lone Wildcat victor, with a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 win over Minnesota's Thomas Haug.
The Wildcats are back in action on Saturday, April 22, when they travel to Wisconsin and again on April 23 at Iowa. The two matches will conclude the regular season for the 'Cats.
