Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Indiana Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Indiana Invitational held in Bloomington, Ind. The tournament took place at the Indiana University golf course, a par-72, 6,134 yard course. NU shot rounds of 323-324=647 to put them in fourth place. The `Cats finished just 10 shots behind tournament winner Indiana, (314-323=637).
Karen England and Elizabeth Burden led the way for the Wildcats with both shooting rounds of 80 and 81=161. They finished eight strokes behind tournament winner Theresa McDermott of Indiana who shot rounds of 77 and 76. Emily Gilley finished in 19th shooting rounds of 82-81while Christie Hermes (81-83=164) finished in 24th with Colleen Kiely (83-84=167) coming in at 33rd. Kristen Beystehner played as an individual shooting rounds of 84-81=165.
