EVANSTON, Ill. -

Northwestern head women's golf coach Chris Regenberg announced today the signing of Ina Kim (Encino, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) and Mary Ellen Grzebien (Saunderstown, R.I./Narragansett) to National Letters of Intent to play golf for the Wildcats beginning in the fall of 2001. Both players will be joining their sisters, Hana Kim and Lauren Grzebien, who are freshman golfers for the Wildcats.

"We are very excited about the direction our program is moving with the addition of Ina and Mary Ellen," said Regenberg. "These are players who know how to win at high levels of competition. The sister combinations on our team also help bring a strong theme of talent, respect, and chemistry. With the addition of Ina and Mary Ellen our program will be even stronger in the years to come."

Kim chose Northwestern over Stanford, Texas and UCLA, while Grzebien decided on NU over Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Notre Dame.
