
Women's Volleyball Loses to No. 5 Wisconsin, 3-0

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's volleyball team fell to Wisconsin, 3-0, Wednesday night at Welsh-Ryan Arena. With the loss the Wildcats fell to 4-19 (1-12 Big Ten), while the fifth-ranked Badgers improved to 22-2 (12-1 Big Ten).
Game scores were 15-9, 15-4, 15-3.
Freshman Erika Lange led the Wildcats with nine kills, while Lindsay Pavlik added six. Carmen Burbach had eight digs to lead the team in that category. For Wisconsin, Jenn Maastricht had a match-high 11 kills, while Sherisa Livingston added nine and hit .571 on the night.
Northwestern travels to Ohio State this Friday for a match with the 13th-ranked Buckeyes. Match time will be 6 p.m. central.
