Men's Soccer Loses to Ohio State, 5-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State's Peterson Jerome scored three goals and Joshua Rathweg added a pair as the Buckeyes defeated Northwestern, 5-0, Sunday afternoon in Columbus.
The match was the Wildcats first of the Big Ten campaign, and dropped them to 0-3 overall.
Jerome got the scoring started in the 12th minute, and then Rathweg scored a pair of goals just 58 seconds apart to make the score 3-0 at halftime. Jerome put the finishing touches on with two goals in the final five minutes.
Matt Keeler had eight saves for NU, which was outshot on the day, 17-6.
Northwestern will play at the University of Loyola-Chicago on Wednesday afternoon, before coming home for the next four matches. That homestand begins Friday when Drake comes to Lakeside Field for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
