EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern exploded for two dynamic second half goals coming two minutes and nine seconds apart to win the game. One came off a header from junior midfielder Frank Lawson (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain), and the other a one-on-one taken by sophomore midfielder Brandon Swalve (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg). Both Swalve and junior forward Jon Cantwell (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield East) scored, and remain tied for the team lead in goals. Cantwell's goal came on a rebound from his own penalty kick. Cantwell's assist on NU's first goal puts him in the team scoring lead (nine points). The Wildcats now sport a 4-2 record in non conference matches.
