Women's Golf in Eighth Place Big Ten Championships

EVANSTON, Ill. -The Northwestern women's golf team stands in eighth place after two rounds of the Big Ten Championships, being played at Purdue's Kampen Course in West Lafayette, Ind.. NU posted rounds of 329-322 for a 36-hole team score of 651. Ohio State leads the field at 623.

Freshman Emily Gilley is tied for 13th place individually at 160 (80-80), 11 strokes behind tournament leader Amber Amstutz of Ohio State. Sophomore Christie Hermes is tied for 24th place at 163 (84-79). Team and NU's individual results appear below. The third round will take place on Saturday morning with the final round scheduled for Sunday.
