Women's Golf Takes Third Place at Hawkeye Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern women's golf team finished in third place at this weekend's Hawkeye Invitational, posting rounds of 327 and 318 for a team score of 645. Indiana won the event at 614 followed by Minnesota at 638.
Individually, four Wildcats finished in the top 20. Junior Karen England (Paris, Ontario, Canada/Paris District) tied for fifth place with a 36-hole total of 157. Indiana's Erin Carney won medalist honors at 151.
NU freshman Emily Gilley (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) tied for 14th place at 161 followed by Colleen Kiely (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Gilmour Academy) and senior Amylou Dueck (Mesa, Ariz./Red Mountain) tied for 16th place at 162.
Complete team and NU's individual results appear below. Next up for the Wildcat women's golf team is the Lady Buckeye Invitational, scheduled for April 24-25 in Columbus, Ohio.
