Women's Golf Takes Fourth Place at Midwest Classic

DFW Airport, Texas - The Northwestern women's golf team finished in fourth place at this weekend's Midwest Classic, being played at Hyatt Bear Creek Golf Course near Dallas. The Wildcats posted rounds of 325 and 324 for a team total of 649. Minnesota won the team title at 627.

Individually, Wildcat freshman Emily Gilley finished in a four-way tie for sixth place, shooting rounds of 78-80 for a total of 14-over-par 158. Illinois State's Suzanne Walker won the tournament at 150 (70-80). Minnesota's Michelle Ballou finished second at 152 (77-75) while Minnesota's Melanie Lepp was third at 154 (76-78).
