Women's Golf Signs Two to Letters of Intent

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern women's golf coach Chris Regenberg announced today the signing of two high school seniors to National Letters of Intent to play golf for Northwestern.

Elizabeth Burden (Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest) won the Maxfli PGA Junior Qualifier and finished eighth in the AJGA Midwestern Junior Championship in 1998. She finished third in the Illinois State High School Junior Girls Western Championship. Burden was also a qualifier for the USGA Junior Girls Championship.

Erin Breslin (Portland, Ore./Lincoln) was the 1998 Oregon Junior Golf Association Lakeside Champion, shooting a 69 to win the title. Breslin, a three-time Portland Interscholastic League District Champion, also qualified for the Big "I" Insurance Agents Championship.
