Wildcats Win Myrtle Beach Classic

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern women's golf team won its second tournament of the season by taking this weekend's Myrtle Beach Classic in South Carolina. NU shot rounds of 312-313 to finish with a team score of 625, 10 strokes better than second place Minnesota. Iowa State took third place with 649.
Individually, freshman Christie Hermes finished in second place at 155 (78-77), two strokes behind tournament champion Amy Dahle of Minnesota.

The 'Cats next tournament is scheduled for April 4-5 at the Indiana Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind.
