October 18, 1998
A heroic effort by junior goalkeeper Matt Keeler (Portage, Mich./Portage Northern) was almost good enough to shut down Indiana this afternoon, but Keeler's teammates were unable to effectively penetrate the nation's second-ranked defense for a goal. Keeler' s 13 saves marked a career high, as he held Indiana to one or fewer goals for only the fourth time in 1998.
