BERKELEY, Calif. - Senior back Annie Scuilli (Short Hills, N.J./Oak Knoll) scored the first two goals of her collegiate career as the 18th-ranked Northwestern field hockey team defeated Pacific, 4-0, in a game played on the Cal-Berkeley campus. The Wildcats improve to 4-4 overall while Pacific drops to 2-1.

NU took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by freshman Nicole Smith and Scuilli. The 'Cats added a pair of goals in the second half on scores by freshman Lisa Comrie and Scuilli's second tally of the contest. Northwestern opens Big Ten Conference play next weekend, traveling to Ohio State and Penn State on Sept 25 and 27, respectively.
