Emily Gilley Named to All-District Team

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern freshman women's golfer Emily Gilley (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) has been named honorable mention all-district by Golfweek magazine. Gilley, also an All-Big Ten pick, earned a berth to this year's NCAA East Regional, the first Northwestern women's golfer ever to compete in the NCAA Regionals.
This year, she set a Wildcat freshman record with a stroke average of 78.9. That also ranks as the third-best season in NU women's golf history.
