Doug Bohaboy Falls in Semifinals of Big Ten Singles Championship

MADISON, Wis. - Senior Doug Bohaboy (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision to No. 1 seed Tom Chicoine of Minnesota in the semifinals of the Big Ten Singles Championship. It marked the second-straight year that Bohaboy advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament.
Chicoine was defeated by Purdue's Jason Marshall in the final (7-6 (4), 6-1).
Bohaboy won four matches en route to the semifinals. He knocked off Ben Basil of Ohio State (6-3, 6-1), Derek Myers of Purdue (6-1, 3-6, 6-2), Adam Selkirk of Minnesota (7-6 (5), 7-6 (7) and Trey Eubanks of Michigan State (6-0, 6-1).
