Fencers Go Undefeated at North Carolina Duals

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern fencing team began its 1999-2000 dual meet season by going 6-0 at the North Carolina Duals. Leading the way for the 'Cats was freshman ep?eist Kate Rudkin, who went a perfect 15-0 including the decisive come-from-behind win which gave the Wildcats a 14-13 victory against Princeton University, one of the top fencing programs in the country. Vivian Imaizumi also had a productive weekend, going 15-3 in sabre competition.
